Vitamin D analyses

Vitamin D status is determined by measuring 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 and D2 in serum (or plasma) with an HPLC using coulometric electrode array detector. Sample volume needed is 500 µL (minimum 300 µL), and concentrations beginning from 10 nM can be quantified. To guarantee the quality of our analytical results we participate to DEQAS (vitamin D external quality assessment scheme) and use NIST traceable serum calibrators to adjust our analytical level.
