B.Sc in Health Promotion

The scope of a first degree, that is a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, is 180 study credits (ECTS). In particular, the normative duration of studies issued in the Universities Act for a Bachelor’s degree, that is three years, must be taken into account when planning studies.

Besides extensive studies of health promotion, the Bachelor’s degree contains basic and intermediate studies depending on the specialism and supporting minor subject studies. The degree also contains academic studies, such as language and communication, and research and methodology studies.

During the first year, the studies focus on health promotion. During the second and third year, the studies consist of basic and intermediate studies and related supporting studies depending on the specialism as well as research and method studies.
