Saara M. Rissanen, Ph.D, received the M.Sc. degree in Physics in 2003 from the University of Kuopio, and the Ph.D. degree in Medical Physics in 2012 from the University of Eastern Finland, Kuopio, Finland. She works currently as a University Researcher at the Department of Applied Physics, University of Eastern Finland.
Her current research interests include especially the analysis methods of neuromuscular function and motion. The main research applications are in the assessment of patients with neurological disorders such as with Parkinson’s disease or myoclonus-epilepsy.
